Today secular society celebrates(?) Halloween, but let’s not forget that November 1st is All Saints Day too. Where we remember our dead, which is also our future. As mortal animals, we don’t like to “think” about being dead, let alone dying. But just remember, it is life that is suffered, not death.
What comes next? Heck if I “know.” My faith is in God, not my understanding of God.
So I remember those I knew, who are not here anymore for me to say: “hello.”
Stupid Time Change.
Tonight the clocks go back to solar time, instead of “day light savings” time. What a bunch of bullshit. Listening to the news, they actually say we’re loosing an hour of day light in the evening. What? How fucking stupid. Its just a change of clocks, what we call the time, not time nor day light itself.
Here’s an idea: keep high-noon at high-noon. Then shut up about it. Day light savings time is just fucking stupid. And it disconnects us from the timing and seasons of nature. That’s a bad thing. Experts and governments, what could possible go wrong? Oh yeah, lawyers and politicians.
