A Great Day In The Yard

David-daily

I got a great deal of prep work done in the yard today. Got the parts I needed to fix my tiller, fixed my tiller, tilled three beds, which are now ready for planting—though if I can get a deal on compost, I’ll put that in first.

Soon my fall/winter planting will be in place, and a bit there after I’ll have very healthy food for months. In Tampa, Florida, winter is a growing season.

That’s it, and for me, that’s quite enough. Simple, healthy, fulfilling. Even the lizards got fat off of run away bugs. I’ll sleep well tonight too, having gotten a good workout digging in the yard.

Do you enjoy simple productive days?
