Third Time Is Well, This Time.

David-daily

Having started two other articles today, for the David-Daily, neither of which came together, I’m just going to review my day. And that’s not bad.

First, I’m grateful that I have a place to stay, food to eat, my cats are fat and sleepy and bossy, and I have some resources to use, towards things I care about. That’s a lot to be thankful for.

I’m also grateful that in spite of the covid-19 hoax, I’m still able to meet with folks that matter to me. The old me of ten years ago would love the isolation these government assholes are trying to put us into, but I’m well past wanting to be alone. And I still meet regularly with lots of people, much to the consternation of local Man-God Emperors. Yeah, fuck y’all.

And I have promising work possibilities ahead of me. The server space is so very different these days, from the routine LAMP servers of ten years ago. These days, with our very powerful hardware, more and more things are virtualized. I’m catching up on these too, as I am using them in my emerging projects. Like I mentioned yesterday, I’ve got two new sites, one for tobacco goodness, the other for publishing. Lots to do.

And poof, the day’s already over. It feels good to be tired too. I sleep well, uh, unless the cat(s) wake me, which they do. Did I mention they’re bossy?

I retire tonight, happy with the day. I got stuff done that contributes to things I care about. More for tomorrow, and in the morning, coffee and reading. Good stuff.

I can harangue politics tomorrow. Today, work and contentment.

Until tomorrow then.
