A Fantastical Day I’d Never Predict

David-daily Fundamentals

One nice thing about writing at night, versus morning, is that I get to relate regular daily things. Today is amazing. I resolved a long time problem I did not expect to resolve. Helped someone with stuff they’re nervous about, but are learning anyway. Moved forward progress on a crucial project. Handled a medical emergency (not mine) with fantastic results.

None of this was expected, or foreseen whatsoever.

And that’s what it is to stay out of God’s way, when God is doing for us, what we cannot do for ourselves. People were that for me. And I was that for people. All of it happening by our open readiness to do our best with what we’ve got.

I’m a guy who cannot afford to get upset or resentful. Those types of jags will kill me, and hurt others along the way. So I’ve learned that nearly all circumstances present me with a choice, of being upset, or collected. Past my initial instinctive reactions, I choose to be collected, because being upset leverages my ability to be hurt. Why would I do that?

So I end today with gratitude. Thank you God, for a great day.

Thanks for the visit. Please share this if you like. See you next time!
